Jim is a great raconteur and is well known locally, not only for his paintings but for the character that he is. So with a twinkle in his eye, a joke or three to tell and an optimistic outlook on life and painting Jim will keep you amused and entertained.

Decoding the Art of the Da Vinci Code
by Dr Kate Challis
11 november 7.00pm
or sunday 13 november 2005 2.00pm
it’s an experience that shouldn’t be missed.
Limited seats so please book early
Dr Challis has spent over 10 years conducting extensive research on Renaissance art. For her doctoral thesis (The University of Melbourne) she spent years researching in some of the greatest libraries and art galleries throughout Europe and America including the Vatican. She has a lively and engaging style of presentation and has lectured extensively in Australia, as well as America and Europe. Her interest in art history was fostered at an early age by her grandfather, Professor Emeritus Bernard Smith, Australia’s pre-eminent art historian. Their shared passion for art and ideas still gives them lots to discuss and argue about, including The Da Vinci Code.
