8 weeks of classes commencing 29 July and concluding 16 September 2010

Focus for term 3:
Be a painter; Be a rebel.
The studio sessions for teens is an art class designed for teens. Becoming a painter takes years of hard work and dedication. These classes will give students an understanding of the vigor and determination one needs to believe in themselves and professional skills to extend their own practice. Inspired by works from the MRAG art collection, teens will experiment with such subjects as landscape, abstraction and still life, working on painting and drawing skills. They will work on small to large painting surfaces. All the techniques demonstrated will be skills they can use in further studies and at home.
